The Red Tree

Mozac, right next to where I live: it's a short walk. One evening in August, before the sun went down. It was hot and heavy, very heavy even. I wandered around, took my time, and took the photos.

I've been working with color in photography for years, so colors don't really hold any secrets for me anymore: when I see green, I know I can change it to black, yellow, red, or blue. Here, the red-pink tree closes the photo at the top right, the trunk goes down, then there is the tip of the stone block, and the pink continues on the left, at the bottom, before going back up. It creates something quite perfect.

I love this area immensely. I don't go there often, but when I do, I know why: I'm really looking for something. I have a whole series on it, but this is the one I chose to release. Photo by MrDéclenche.

The print

• Poster: Fuji Crystal Archive photo paper, your choice of DP II matte (soft finish, no reflections) or metallic Pearl (more vibrant colors, slight pearlescent effect). Print only, without frame or mount.
• Ready-to-hang Alu Dibond: the photo is printed on Fuji Crystal Archive DP II matte paper, protected by an anti-reflective matte laminate, then mounted on a 3 mm rigid Alu Dibond aluminum plate with black edges. The hanging system is already attached to the back: all you have to do is hang it on the wall.
• The MrDéclenche watermark only appears on the site: your print is produced from the original file, in full quality.

Production and delivery

• Each print is made to order by WhiteWall, a high-end photo lab.
• Poster: allow 7 to 10 business days between your order and receipt (production then shipping).
• Alu Dibond: allow approximately 10 business days for production, then shipping.
• Packaging: the poster travels flat in an envelope up to 60×40 cm, rolled in a cardboard tube beyond that. Alu Dibond travels flat, in protective packaging.
• Home delivery by carrier (DHL, DPD, UPS...).
