The bell tower of Riom

The bell tower of Riom, in broad daylight, one morning. When I walk down a street, it's as if I were splitting into eight or nine versions of myself. One of me crouches down to look over there, another stands up to look at the reflection in the windows, one makes itself tiny, like an ant in the cobblestones, one takes the place of a dog, one on a bike, one on a hood… That is how I walk down the street.

That particular street is monstrous: there are perspectives in every direction. When it rains, there are reflections everywhere. The papers, the cigarette butts, everything is in its place; I don't remove anything. I passed by there in the evening, in the snow… and I came back much later, one morning, for this shot.

In post-processing, just the color, like an infrared filter without actually being one, and a slight vignette over the whole photo, which I removed from the sky. I left the light from the sky and that of the metal railing in the foreground, for the perspective. The whole town of Riom is super interesting, you just have to look differently. The Print

• Poster: Fuji Crystal Archive photo paper, your choice of DP II matte (soft finish, no reflections) or metallic Pearl (more vibrant colors, slight pearlescent effect). Print only, without frame or mount.
• Ready-to-hang Alu Dibond: the photo is printed on matte Fuji Crystal Archive DP II paper, protected by an anti-reflective matte laminate, then mounted on a 3mm rigid Alu Dibond aluminum sheet with black edges. The hanging system is already attached to the back: all you have to do is hang it on the wall.

Production and Delivery

• Each print is made to order by WhiteWall, a high-end photo lab.
• Poster: allow 7 to 10 business days between your order and receipt (production plus shipping).
• Alu Dibond: allow approximately 10 business days for production, plus shipping.
• Packaging: the poster travels flat in an envelope up to 60x40 cm, and rolled in a cardboard tube for larger sizes. The Alu Dibond travels flat, in protective packaging.
• Home delivery by carrier (DHL, DPD, UPS…).
