The Green Steps
The Riom courthouse, I believe. Crazy architecture: if you take your time, there are thirty or forty angles to fully explore. But on this one, there was a tiny sprout at the foot of the gutter. I don't know what it's doing there, but it managed to survive: it's growing, just doing its own thing.
The photo was taken in broad daylight. I changed the colors to bring the forest into the city: the greenery of Auvergne, very green, very lush, like some of the volcanoes. Not something chaotic. I desaturated the window and the wall next to it to evoke nighttime, as if it were already getting a bit dark. Some people don't quite get the green: well, that's the explanation.
I took quite a few, in lots of different colors. This one stood out the most. Photo by MrDéclenche.
